4.20.2003 - GG J.A.G. and updates - BLaCKLaB

Fun times indeed. Bet you didn't think you'd hear from me.. I've been a little distant with Ti|- lately. I've had a lot of real world issues to deal with, aka job, gf, car, etc. That's beside the point. NaTaS said he'd be posting a writeup for the JAG match but he never did. Most of this is heresay because I heard all of it second hand and I can't remember all of it either so it shall be brief. With that said, here we go... Round 1: Stuff happened. NaTaS sucked apparently. (He wouldn't even show me his demo for round 1). Ending score 90-0 Ti Round 2: More stuff happened. Apparently JAG didn't even want to play at all. They just sat in their respawn or sniped on the battlements. Finally maybe with 15 minutes left, someone from their team came in and attempted to cap the flag. *Shrug* 260-0 Ti First Ti shutout in awhile if ever (I'm too lazy to look). This match was kind of a disturbing one and a sad one. I really thought JAG of all clans would attempt at least to be competitive. From what I saw round 2, they weren't that at all. Apparently, even in round 1, they weren't either (but I didn't watch that round so I don't know for sure). I had a lot of respect for JAG but most of that is now gone. SexyBW used to be a pretty frequent idler in #ti and now has disappeared because "JAG hates Ti." Ti was "unsportsmanlike." How are we supposed to be good sportsmen when you won't even come out of your respawn? Just food for thought. Nothing against JAG but don't be talking shit about us when you clearly started all of it. Kthx, gg, whatever. That said, on to the cool stuff. This weekend, NaTaS came over to my pad and we had ourselves a little lan. I shall post the pictures momentarily since I have nothing better to do. Good times. This week we have a STA match on Tuesday against someone, gl hf. I'm outtie 5000. -lab

4.3.2003 - Whew.. - BLaCKLaB

Long time since I've sat down and done a post. Here's a little catch-up for those who care. Ti|- has been having a rocky month or so with no shows of team mates, people retiring, and just general suckiness. As a result our last two matches in STA were affected and we lost when we should have won, or at least been more competitive. I'm happy to report now, the skip is back in our steps as we gear up to showing people what we're really made of.. Burt has decided to step down as leadership and leave all together. He will be missed. In his place of leadership, NaTaS has taken up the torch and done a fine job so far and will continue to do so, unless of course he wants to lose his testicles. We've decided yet again to open the flood gates for recruits. I've searched far and wide.. thecatacombs.net/forum and found a few promising young souls to fill up the spots that are now empty in our roster. Hopefully they will do well in their tryouts and I wish them the best of luck to the challenges that face them. Finally, I'm more than ecstatic to report that Ti|- has finally broken the Top 10 of the OGL 5v5 ladder. This brings a tear to my eye. It has always been my goal to get a team to the top 10 of anything and now I have done it. :') This of course goes without saying that OGL clans can be a tough crowd. The road that lies ahead is not a smoothly paved one in the least. Some stiff competition lies ahead for Ti|- but I'm sure as always that we will greet it with a super shotgun and a smile. Anyways, that's all I have to report for now. Expect to see the new recruits around in the channel. If you feel you have what it takes to be in Ti|-, give me a hollar and I'll at least look at the best demo of yourself that you can come up with. With that said, I shall leave to my dominion of the Learning Center. *Screams* STOP PRINTING 1000 COPIES OF NSYNCS WEBSITE!! Good times. O_o

4.2.2003 - Bring Out Your Dead, Bring Out Your Dead . . . . - NaTaS

Hello again ladies and gents. Once again I bring news from oceans afar. Our match in STA against The SupaFriends was very good, I had a lot of fun, but . . . we lost by one cap. We are now in a STA slump with 2 loses. Hopefully we can boost back. :[ VVFGG S over Ti|- 80-70. Next spec of news is for the match tonight. Which was an OGL match. And by golly, who doesn't just love a good Ol' OGL match. I know I don't .. . . errr. . do! After hours and hours of waiting for TG to get their players together, they finally get 4 and we head into their server R1 for some Torch2 action. R1: Was nothing but fun, and lots of it. The last 5 minutes were nothing but Ti|- killing Ti|-. :] Which was loadsO'FUN. Perhaps the funnest round I have played in a while. GG Ti|-. The score came rather lopsided. Ti|- over TG* 270-160. I swear every cap was either because of my mouse or my team killing me. FUN FUN FUN. R2: After we head into our server and TG* gets 5 guys the fun starts on Trench. My performance sucked wang and balls r2, but luckily our O kept things going. Round 2 was more of lame than anything else aka Spy, Pyro, and Scout O. Due to my suckage the round was pretty tight, but Ti|- ended up on top again 130-110 over TG*. GG TG*. As you can tell the night was fun and hectic. Felix gets the MVP award for the night, for raping on O. Everyone in Ti|- played very well and fair. . . . or so I thought, until I visited the TG* channel and they decide to call hax on our D. . .Yet another clan calls hax on the cleanest bunch this side of Africa. WOOT. Of course that was the lamest crap they could ever pull, but ah well. Some people just don't lose. I don't care. I had fun and a GG was had. Ti|-over TG* 400-270. Gj guys. . .and ChiK. :] P.S.-ChiK owned for our D tonight, and ty for the fucking badass siggy. /me eats ou. .. . .nm. :]

3.26.2003 - G'day mates - Burt

As of last night I am done with Ti. Lab and crew have known for the last week or so that I wanted to be done and last night sealed the choice for me. For a long time I have been unhappy with the way things were going, people not showing up, things not being prepared, comming down to the wire, and it was getting to stressful on my part. So it's time for me to call it quits. Expect this to be edited because Kev things I only want to win even though I announced last week while we were raping that I was going to be leaving and was very confident we would win last night. GG to everyone who plays or has played in Ti, I love you all but the way things have been run have bothered me greatly. VGG

3.18.2003 - Well. . . um. . . . owned?! - NaTaS

We looked great tonight. Hell, we even looked better than Burt in his Mom's underwear. And that is pretty damn sexeh.=] After we get a roster all scrounged up we head into their server for faf action! R1: I really just don't know what to say, besides the fact that I really hate this map. Well anyways, had to move on. Me and Sofa on O R1, and Sarge Felix and Distort took the helm on the D side. I'm pretty sure they were all dicking around and giving each other bjers because all I heard was laughing and giggling like little schoolgirls. Me and Sofa had a job to do, which was fairly simple to do against their D which was fairly decent R1. However they had some class changes which slowed them down until the end. Our D on the other hand fucked shit up and did nothing but spam and have loads of fun. All said and bjer'd, round 1 ended 60-10 R2: Well this round I let MeTT go in for me and he played D, leaving the O up to. . . .Felix and Sofa? Yeah.. . . leaving O up to those two is like leaving flys by elephant shit. That's pretty much the story of R2, everyone was whoring and fighting over kills. ROFL. A small competition was started on Ti's side within the match. Felix tended to get stabbed quite often, cause he's a little bitch. Our D was tight again and having fun. NuFF R2 ended. 120-20! Thats sums it up, I hope we never play that map again, aside from the spam and potshotting, it still sucked. . GG ALL Ti|- 180-30 over 3x9. GG 3x9, you were very fun to play and you were good sports. 3.15.2003 - Weekend Update - BLaCKLaB

Hurry, time for the Weekend Update with me. Our OGL match got cancelled because the other team could not make it to any of the days that we could, so we just decided to cancel it. Hurray. We won our first STA match and a gg to nTaC. I don't think they were hoping to come up against us so soon. :`( They fought hard and galantly. Just remember, Felix = teh hax. 2 members are removed from the roster due to inactivity. Incriminate played one match out of the last 5 and declined to show up when he said he would. He has been removed from the roster. GG, sorry to see you go due to inactivity. Gooster never played with us but burt insisted he should be on the roster, I just deleted him, *shrug* Next week in STA vs 3x9 or something. Never heard of them but I'm sure I'll get to know them soon enough. GL & HF. Miz is still working on a match database for us. I have the sneaking suspicion that it will never get done... oh well... *sigh* Sofa and EMPeror finally make their deputs on the Ti roster in the last 2 matches. GG guys, welcome to the crew, FINALLY. And Sofa, please report to burt's office, he didn't receive that beejer you promised.. ;) That's all for now, let's have it for another great week in STA and in life outside of TFC. ;P

3.12.2003 - Mulch_fnf=Mulch_fun - NaTaS

WoW. That was intense, and quite possibly one of the funnest matches I have ever played. After a few years in IRC waiting for more than four people to show up for the match we jumped right into it. R1: Well round 1 started as we all headed into 'nTaC's rcongamer server. It was already bad enough but before they could start prematch a soldja "who will remain nameless" decided to spam nail grenades with the unlimited supply of packs until he alone crashed the server. GJ. After a quick restart of their server and about 6500 ingame restarts R1 begins, and when I say begins I really mean begins. Me[Scout] and Sofa[Medic] hold the O, while EMPeror[Engy], Distort[Soldja/Pyro], and METT[Engy] hold down the D. Things get off to a pretty quick start on O with me capping about every 30 seconds and Sofa going on 7 kill O runs until he dies, including killing the sentry and HWGUY with plenty'Ohealth left over.=] Our D was very stable R1 only letting out a few caps here and there. Long story short, R1 ended Ti|- over 'nTaC: 380-130. GJ everyone. R2: After a quick break, small line change up, and new server R2 is quickly underway. Same O this time, but Felix[Hwguy/Engy] took over for METT[Gj btw]. So after everyone settles into the BB' server courtesy of our pals in DoH the mayhem begins. R2 was pretty much the same ownage on O as in R1 except a little more fast paced because R1 was the first time I had ever played the map, and now I had it DOWN. With Felix holding down the front door tighter than vigin pussy as HW there was basically no chance for 'nTaC's O. It was pretty much shutdown, in the first 15 mintues our D only let out two caps courtesy of EMP'and Dis'owning as engies. Things were starting to get a little scarce for the opposing team when we were up by over 200 points with only 10 minutes to go. So the spam begun, I'm not blaming anyone, I don't know who started it, but after it begun on the map with infinite packs, there was just NO STOPPING IT. Thanks to Distort and Felix I think I got killed more times by my team than theirs in R2. Me and Sofa had a much harder time getting caps because both halls were closed off for spamming season, although I must say we did have a fun time concing over the spy pill spam. Near the end the spam was just rediculous, but quite fun, with an array of spy,engy,hw, and pyro spam. Ah Well. . . fun was had by all. R2 ends Ti|- over 'nTaC: 390-40. <---Yah that's the right score. . . intense. After all that fun the final score arrived: 770-170 Ti|-! GG and GJ to everyone, 'nTaC was very fun to play against and there was hardly any MM1. I think twice to be exact, so GG 'nTaC and VGFJ Ti.
